About GoNao
What is GoNao?
GoNao is a mobile app that lets you find and book local service businesses across a wide range of categories — directly from your phone. Businesses use GoNao to manage their bookings and availability.
Is GoNao free to use?
Creating an account and browsing businesses is free. GoNao does not charge a booking fee — you pay the business directly via their preferred payment method (Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp).
Where is GoNao available?
GoNao is currently launching in select cities in Texas. We're expanding to more cities soon. If GoNao isn't in your area yet, businesses can still sign up to be listed and customers can still create accounts.
Bookings & Scheduling
How do I book a service?
Open the app, search or browse businesses near you, select a service and available time slot, confirm your details, and submit your booking request. You'll receive a push notification when the business confirms.
Can I cancel or reschedule a booking?
Yes. You can cancel or reschedule from the Appointments tab in the app. Cancellation policies vary by business — the policy is shown before you confirm your booking. Cancellations made with sufficient notice are typically fee-free.
Can I leave a review for a business?
Yes. Once an appointment is fully completed (after the service end time has passed), a star icon appears on that appointment in your Past tab. Tap it to rate the business 1–5 stars and leave an optional written comment. You can only submit one review per business. After a completed appointment you'll also receive an in-app notification reminding you to leave a review.
What if a business cancels on me?
If a business cancels your confirmed appointment, you will receive a notification explaining what happened. Contact the business directly to rebook, or find another provider in the app.
How far in advance can I book?
You can book up to 14 days in advance. Each business also sets a minimum notice period (e.g. at least 2 hours ahead). Available dates and times are shown in real time in the app.
Payments & Refunds
How do I pay for services?
Each business sets its own preferred payment method — Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp. Their payment details are shown on the booking page before you confirm, so you always know how to pay. GoNao does not charge your card or process payments on behalf of businesses.
Do some services require a deposit?
Yes. Some businesses require a deposit to confirm your appointment (the amount is shown before you book). Deposit policies and amounts are set by each business. Contact the business directly to arrange the deposit payment via their listed method.
How do refunds and cancellations work?
Refund and cancellation policies are set by each individual business and shown on their booking page before you confirm. If you need a refund, contact the business directly. For disputes you can't resolve with the business, use our contact form and we'll help mediate.
Does GoNao store my payment information?
No. GoNao does not process card payments and does not store any payment card data. All payments go directly between you and the business via their listed method (Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp).
Account & Privacy
How do I create an account?
Download the GoNao app, tap Sign Up, and enter your name, email address, and a password. Your account is created immediately. We'll send a verification email to the address you used — verify it before your first booking.
Why am I being asked to verify my email?
Email verification is required before you can book appointments, submit reviews, or file reports. Check your inbox for an email from GoNao (check your spam folder if you don't see it) and tap the verification link. Once verified, all features unlock. You can request a new verification email from the prompt that appears when you try to book.
How do I delete my account?
Tap the avatar icon to open your Profile, tap Settings, then tap Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm your password before deletion proceeds. Your personal information is removed within 30 days. Appointment records are anonymized to preserve businesses' booking history.
How do I turn off push notifications?
You can disable GoNao notifications through your device settings at any time. On iPhone: Settings → GoNao → Notifications. On Android: Settings → Apps → GoNao → Notifications.
What data does GoNao collect?
We collect your name, email, phone number, home address (optional, for mobile service bookings), location (to find nearby businesses), and appointment history. We use Firebase for authentication and Sentry for crash reporting. We never sell your data. See our full Privacy Policy for details.
Why did GoNao ask for my age, gender, and how I heard about the app?
This is a one-time optional survey shown right after signup. We use the responses to better understand our users and improve recommendations — nothing more. You can tap Skip at any time and it won't affect your experience.
How do I report a business?
Open the appointment detail for that business (Appointments tab → tap the appointment), then tap the flag icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Select a reason (no-show, abusive behavior, fraud, spam, inappropriate content, or other), add an optional description, and tap Submit Report. Reports from users who have had a confirmed or completed appointment with the business carry more weight in our review process.
What happens if my account is suspended?
If your account is suspended — either automatically after receiving multiple verified reports, or manually by our moderation team — you'll see a notice when you try to book. To submit additional context or appeal the suspension, contact us. We review all appeals but are not obligated to reinstate any account.
For Business Owners
How do I list my business on GoNao?
Download the app, create an account, and tap 'List Your Business' in the Profile tab. The self-serve onboarding walks you through your business name, category, address, working hours, services, and payment info. You'll appear in the GoNao feed right away.
How do I manage my availability?
From the Profile tab, tap Manage Businesses, then tap your business to open the dashboard. From there you can edit your details, manage services, and use the Online/Offline toggle to pause bookings instantly when you're unavailable. Blocked Dates (a paid plan feature coming soon) will let you block specific dates or time ranges.
How do I receive payments from bookings?
You receive payment directly from customers via your preferred method — Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or CashApp. During onboarding you enter your payment handles, which customers see when they book. GoNao does not take a cut of your earnings or process payments on your behalf.
How do I share my booking link or QR code?
Tap your business from the Home screen (or open Business Details from Profile) and tap Share & QR Code. A sheet appears with your unique QR code and booking link. Tap Share Link to send via iMessage, WhatsApp, email, or any app. Customers who tap the link with GoNao installed are taken straight to your booking screen. Screenshot the QR to print on business cards or your website.
Can customers leave reviews for my business?
Yes. After a completed appointment, customers can rate your business 1–5 stars and leave a written comment. Reviews are public and visible to all GoNao users. Your average rating and total review count appear on your listing card in the Home feed.
What happens when I tap my own business from the Home screen?
If you own the business, tapping it opens a business owner view instead of the customer booking screen. From there you can quickly jump to Appointments, Services, Business Details, and your Share & QR Code — all in one tap.
How do I report a problematic customer?
Open the appointment detail for that customer (Profile → Manage Businesses → your business → Appointments → tap the appointment), then tap the flag icon in the top-right corner. Select a reason, add an optional description, and submit. Reports from businesses who have had a confirmed appointment with the customer carry more weight in our review process.
What if my business is suspended?
If your business is suspended — due to verified customer reports or a terms violation — your listing will be hidden from GoNao and new bookings will be paused. Existing confirmed appointments remain visible to your customers. To appeal or submit additional context, contact us. We review all appeals within 2–3 business days.
Can I block a customer from booking with me?
Yes. If a customer has been problematic, you can block them after submitting a report. Blocked customers will no longer be able to book your services. To report and block a customer, open the appointment detail, tap the flag icon, and follow the prompts.
